Approached this book at first with some trepidation, wondering what could one write on an experience of music. Having read some books on music itself, this book came as a surprise. It captures the tender relationship of guru-shishya (teacher-student) and at the same time brings to light the hardships faced by many erstwhile artistes in a sensitive narration. Very good read!
